Cranleigh cruised through the first round of the cup, with an impressive display against the Div 3 outfit. Unfortunately the visitors found their past players (keeper Dan Laws and defender Luca Ellis) on fine form with Ellis netting twice against his old club. Despite a number of changes in the home team line up (a sure sign of Cranleigh’s strength in depth) Billingshurst could do little to stop the onslaught. Another Cam Lawson hatrick continued his impressive start to the season, two from the ever industrious Isaac Collins and a goal from debutant Hari Grewal from a Matt Sargeant pass, put the icing on the cake.
