Cranleigh FC is excited to expand our football offering with a brand-new Sunday morning SEN football team at Glebelands School. This initiative aims to provide a fun, inclusive, and engaging football experience for children with special educational needs (SEN), helping them develop confidence, teamwork, and a love for the game in a supportive environment.

To make this happen, we are looking for a dedicated Team Manager to take the lead in setting up and managing this fantastic new addition to our club.

Your role as Team Manager

As the SEN Team Manager, you will play a key role in establishing and running the team, ensuring it is welcoming, well-organised, and enjoyable for all players. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Recruiting coaches and team management support to help run the sessions effectively.

  • Promoting the team locally and encouraging player sign-ups.

  • Ensuring all team staff hold the required FA safeguarding and coaching qualifications to provide a safe and professional environment.

  • Liaising with the club committee on registration, kit, equipment, safeguarding, and the club’s code of conduct.

  • Working closely with Surrey FA’s SEN provision to align with best practices for inclusive football.

  • Coordinating with Glebelands School to ensure smooth operation of the sessions.

  • Delivering engaging, fun, and safe football sessions on Sunday mornings at the school’s 3G pitch.

  • Providing ongoing support and communication for players’ parents, ensuring a positive experience for all involved.

Be part of something special

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the local community by creating a football environment where every child has the chance to play, learn, and enjoy the game. Whether you’re an experienced coach, a passionate football supporter, or someone keen to develop a more inclusive footballing future, we’d love to hear from you.
