Cranleigh Reserves booked their place in the Reserves Challenge Cup final with a hard-fought 1-0 win over Worplesdon Phoenix. A decisive goal from Joe Sutton proved to be the difference in a tense encounter.
Manager Ben Horne praised the team’s effort:
“The lads dug deep and showed real character. They deserved this win. It’s a massive result the club as we look to go all the way once more. We’re now going to be training hard ahead of the Final, but there’s still a big challenge in the League, and that has to be the focus.”
Cranleigh Reserves will now face Keens Park Rangers Reserves in the final on 24th April at Westfield FC.
