Cranleigh Football Club’s Development Team has unveiled its new kit, ready for action in the Youth to Adult Transitional Division of the Guildford & Woking Alliance Football League. The new strip, supplied by Joma, sports Cranleigh’s traditional blue and white colours, giving the team a fresh look for the season.
The Development Team’s kit sponsorship comes from DSG Kitchens & Bathrooms, a Cranleigh-based business. The support from DSG has enabled the team to equip its players with high-quality gear that represents the club’s ambitions on the pitch.
Bridging the gap
Coach Andy Lee said his side plays a big role in the club’s structure. He said: “The Development Team aims to bridge the gap between Cranleigh FC’s huge youth set-up and the senior squads. The younger players who have the ambition to reach the Firsts need to play regularly at a competitive level. We’ve had a fair start to the season, but the squad is now starting to gel.”
He added, “It’s great to receive the new playing kits; they look fantastic, and I know the players will wear the badge with pride. I’d like to thank DSG Kitchens & Bathrooms for supporting us; their sponsorship is what has made this possible.”
