How long have you been with Cranleigh FC, and what brought you to the club?
I first joined Cranleigh FC as a child, when I was in Under 8s and I’ve never left.
What do you love most about representing Cranleigh FC?
The social side of the club for sure – there is always someone around after the match for a trip to the pub!
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given in football?
“Win or lose, on the booze” – being part of the team is more than the match itself. Whether we are celebrating together after a win or reflecting after the game didn’t go as we planned, an after match “de-brief” can really help with team morale.
Which professional footballer, past or present, do you admire and why?
Tom Huddlestone – at 6’2” he is bigger than the average footballer, but he has great passing ability and a powerful shot.
What advice would you give to younger players on becoming better footballers?
Don’t be afraid to tackle!
