The draw for Cranleigh FC’s 130th anniversary raffle took place today at 1pm at the offices of the Parish Council in Cranleigh. In the interest of absolute fairness, the tickets were drawn by Waverley Borough Councillor Liz Townsend, who did not hold a ticket in the draw.

The prize winners were notified by phone, 30 September. The club committed to awarding 50% of the maximum cash prizes as a gesture of loyalty to our club supporters. The prize breakdown is as follows:

  • 1st Prize: £1,500
  • 2nd Prize: £750
  • 3rd Prize: £375

The winners have chosen to remain anonymous, but the winning ticket stubs will be shared with the club officers for verification. Photos were also taken during the draw.

In a gesture of generosity, one of the winners has kindly requested that their prize be retained by the club, allowing us to add this amount to the total raised. As a result, the club has raised £2,335 to contribute towards our season’s costs.

We extend a huge thank you to everyone who supported the raffle, and we look forward to repeating the event next year with even greater success.
