Cranleigh FC over 50s Vets took on Liphook at Fort Snox on a sunny Sunday 16th October in a friendly match. A casual observer would have seen a well fought game end to end with multiple chances created and some taken.
Cranleigh FC playing in the usual Cranleigh way, passing the ball fast on the ground, saw goals scored by John Dennison and John-Paul Trickett with the final result a 5-2 victory for Liphook.
