Young members of a local football club have been given an extra helping hand by a housebuilder’s donation. Cranleigh Youth Football Club received a donation of £750 from Bellway South London, which is building new homes at Little Meadow, off Alfold Road. The money donated has allowed the club to work together with Chelsea Football Club Foundation, to utilise the additional expertise of their coaches.

Spencer Adams, Under 10’s manager at the club, said: “We are extremely grateful to have received such a generous donation. “It is an amazing opportunity for the children to receive coaching from such a prestigious club, and we are very thankful that Bellway helped to make this possible.”

Natalie Hughes, Sales Manager for Bellway South London, said: “Cranleigh Youth Football Club plays a huge part in the community and gives many children the chance to take part in a sport, keep fit and socialise, so we are really pleased to be able to support them. “As a housebuilder, it is really important for us to help support local community groups within the areas in which we build new homes, and we hope we can continue to work with the club in the future.”
