How long have you been with Cranleigh FC, and what brought you to the club?
I’ve played for Cranleigh Vets for three years now, after I moved to Cranleigh with the family six years ago. I wanted to play for a local team which focuses on that football and family life balance, and the Vets allows you do to that.
What do you love most about representing Cranleigh FC?
The club as a whole is fantastic. The Vets squad has a great atmosphere and team spirit, I have made some good mates.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given in football?
Have confidence and don’t be scared of trying new things
Which professional footballer, past or present, do you admire and why?
Diego Maradona; the greatest ever! Roberto Baggio; having the injuries he did and to have been at that level shows how hard work pays off. Every upcoming striker and central attacking midfielder should be made to watch his videos.
What advice would you give to younger players on becoming better footballers?
Practice, practice, practice! Football is a team game. Always play for you and your teammates, and be a part of the atmosphere on and off the pitch.
