How long have you been part of CFC and what do you love about the club?
I have only been coaching with Cranleigh FC for a few months, the club has a great setup and it’s a good environment to be in. My son also plays and loves it, too. Having a local team close by to where I live and work is great too.
How would you describe your coaching style?
I am the goalkeeper coach for the team I think my coaching is wonderful! I work with the goalie separately as well as when the team play together, giving goalkeeper advice at all times. I have had great feedback from the goalkeeper particularly, which is great.
What are the key attributes that make for a great footballer?
Talking; listening; not being afraid of the ball; passing and ball control.
What is the best advice you would give to players on becoming better footballers?
Always listen to each other and your coach; they are there to help you improve as individuals and as a team.
Which professional footballer, past or present, do you admire and why?
Thierry Henry. Having supported Arsenal all my life and watching play when I was young, he was an absolute stand out player. Thierry had good accuracy and good speed when he was in control of the ball… Va va voooooom!
