It was the classic game of two halves for Cranleigh U14 Cobras, who faced a formidable Dorkinians U15 Wolves side. The first half proved challenging, with the Cobras conceding five goals, including two unfortunate own goals, as the physically stronger Wolves took advantage of their opportunities.

However, a late first-half goal from the Cobras lifted spirits heading into the break, and the team emerged for the second half with renewed determination.

While Wolves added another goal to their tally, the Cobras responded with a well-worked second goal, finished brilliantly by Harry. The young Cobras showed resilience and grit, holding off their bigger opponents and drawing the second half 1-1.

Although the final scoreline read 6-2 in favour of Wolves, the Cobras left the pitch with heads held high, proud of their second-half performance and the character they displayed throughout.

Next up, the Cobras will be back in action next weekend, ready to fight again.
