Sunday 16th October Cranleigh FC Women’s First Team secured their first win in the Surrey Women’s League with a hard fought match against Oxted & District WFC. Two weeks earlier in the revers fixture we had lost narrowly to our opponents, so this match was an opportunity to take revenge!! The final score was 3-2 but we had to come from behind twice to secure three well deserved points. As ever we helped along by our vocal supporters who add tremendously to the atmosphere.
Our technical and tactical ability as individual players and as a team continues to grow each time we play.
4 games in and we have W1 D2 L1 sitting third in the Surrey Division 1
Our next home match is Sunday 30th October 2.00pm kick off when we take on high flying Richmond Park Development
