The Cranleigh FC Women’s Team isn’t just about enjoying football—it’s playing a vital role in shaping the club’s future. One of our key objectives is to ensure that female grassroots players at Cranleigh have a clear pathway to continue playing beyond age 16, transitioning seamlessly into open-age football within the club.

Progress on the pitch

With the season now two-thirds complete in Surrey Division 1 South, the team has shown a huge improvement over last year:

2024/25 Season (so far)

  • Played: 11
  • Won: 2
  • Drawn: 2
  • Lost: 7
  • Goals For: 25
  • Goals Against: 31
  • Goal Difference: -6
  • Points: 8

Compared to this stage last season:

  • Played: 11
  • Won: 1
  • Drawn: 0
  • Lost: 10
  • Goals For: 9
  • Goals Against: 90
  • Goal Difference: -81

This season, margins have been tight. We’re averaging 2.27 goals scored per game and conceding 2.82—just a 0.6 goal difference per match. A single extra goal scored or one less conceded in each game could have put us on 17 points, good enough for third place in the division.
