How long have you been with Cranleigh FC, and what brought you to the club?
I really wanted to get back into playing 11-a-side football, and am now in my second season with Cranleigh FC
What do you love most about representing Cranleigh FC?
The team bond and friendship – it really shines through, no matter the result on the pitch.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given in football?
Get the basics right and enjoy it!
Which professional footballer, past or present, do you admire and why?
Steven Gerrard – he had a ‘do or die’ attitude that meant he never gave up and became one of the best captains. His tough challenges and long-range effort (even when Liverpool looked down and out!) was some of the best football I can remember watching.
What advice would you give to younger players on becoming better footballers?
Enjoy the game and know you will never stop learning. It is key to always listen to advice from coaches as well as your team mates.
